Hi! My name is Kayoko Kimura, Founder and Editor of oatmeal 365 days.
I have been freelance writer since 1990, writing and editing for women’s magazines and information magazines, etc.
In the 1990s, I spent seven years in London and Paris.
My encounter with oatmeal goes back quite far, to a time when I was in elementary school and had oatmeal for breakfast.
In London, I thought it was “interesting” that a vegetarian restaurant used oatmeal instead of meat.
In the summer of 2013 I started eating oatmeal when trying to manage my mood swings and loss of strength during menopause.
After about a month of eating oatmeal in a variety of delicious ways, my health improved, I lost weight.
Since then, I have been enjoying oatmeal every day and developing recipes.
